I am free, I am loved

I am not just an animal, I don’t have to be strong and hunt or be weak and be prey

I don’t live just by rhythms and patterns

Time is a journey

My music is expression outside of consciousness

I try not to be present when creating

I can sense when I am present, and when I do, unless my presence works, I start again.

Mostly, being present doesn’t work for me, because I don’t want to recognise it. Sometimes it does work, and I will use that.

I want it to be from somewhere else, from an unknown source. Subconscious if you like.

I want the unknown with my music. I don’t want to recognise it as my identity. When I listen back I want to question it and say “Was that me?”
